A$AP Rocky convicted of a felony?
A$AP Rocky's trial for allegedly shooting a former friend has begun. The 36-year-old rapper is charged with two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm (see: https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/celebrities/2025/01/19/asap-rocky-trial-felony-assault-what-to-know/77805179007/) This market will resolve to "Yes" if Rakim Mayers (A$AP Rocky) is convicted of a felony in the case "People of the State of California v. Rakim Mayers". Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If no judgement is rendered by December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET, or if the trial is definitively cancelled or postponed beyond that date, this market will resolve to "No". If A$AP Rocky's trial ends due to a plea agreement without an admission of guilt, a dismissal, or results in any situation in which no judgement is rendered by the court, this market will resolve to "No". If A$AP Rocky's ongoing trial ends (e.g. mistrial) without the rendering of a guilty verdict, this market will immediately resolve to "No". This market's resolution will be based on the initial judgement rendered in this case, regardless of any subsequent appeals. This market will resolve based on the first judgement rendered in this case, regardless of later appeals, etc.
