Google's Wiz acquisition blocked before July?
On March 18, Alphabet announced it had entered into an agreement to buy Wiz for $32 billion. You can read more about that here: https://blog.google/inside-google/company-announcements/google-agreement-acquire-wiz/ This market will resolve to "Yes" if Alphabet's acquisition of Wiz is legally blocked by a government authority before June 30, 2025 ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A legal block refers to a regulatory decision or court ruling that prevents the acquisition from proceeding, such as an injunction, antitrust ruling, or official regulatory denial from authorities like the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), or another relevant government body. Investigations, delays, or opposition without a formal block will not be sufficient for a "Yes" resolution. If the deal fully clears regulatory review and is completed before this market's end date, this market will immediately resolve to "No". The primary resolution source for this market will be information from the US government, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
