The longest filibuster in U.S. Senate history was by Senator Strom Thurmond of South Carolina, who spoke for 24 hours and 18 minutes straight on August 28–29, 1957. This market will resolve to "Yes" if Senator Cory Booker's ongoing speech on the Senate floor that began around 7:00 PM ET on March 31, 2025 continues until April 1, 7:19 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." The resolution source will be video of the speech (see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2utlMxAwtE).
