Menendez brother resentenced to allow parole?

This market will resolve to "Yes" if, either Erik or Lyle Menendez is resentenced to a prison term that includes the possibility of parole, replacing their current sentence of life without the possibility of parole by 11:59 PM ET on December 31, 2025. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The market will resolve based on the first resentencing decision rendered by the Los Angeles County Superior Court in the case of People of the State of California v. Erik and Lyle Menendez, Case No. BA025532. If the court resentences either brother to a term such as "50 years to life," which includes parole eligibility, this market will resolve to "Yes," regardless of whether parole is ultimately granted. If the court denies resentencing, maintains the original sentence of life without the possibility of parole, or if no resentencing decision is rendered by the resolution deadline, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the Los Angeles County Superior Court; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
