Will OpenAI accuse Microsoft of violating antitrust before August?
This market will resolve to "Yes" if OpenAI or one of its executives or official spokespersons publicly and unambiguously accuses Microsoft of violating antitrust, competition, or antimonopoly laws by July 31, 2025, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." The filing of a lawsuit, regulatory complaint, or formal petition by OpenAI against Microsoft that includes allegations of antitrust or anticompetitive behavior will count as a qualifying accusation. Statements must clearly indicate a belief that Microsoft is engaging in anticompetitive or monopolistic behavior under relevant legal frameworks. Vague criticism, expressions of competitive tension, or statements lacking a reference to antitrust or competition law will not qualify. Anonymous sources or internal leaks reported by the media will not qualify. The primary resolution sources will be a consensus of credible reporting.
