Will Charles Herbster win the Republican gubernatorial nomination in the 2022 Nebraska election on May 10?

The 2022 Nebraska gubernatorial election will take place on November 8, 2022, to elect the governor of Nebraska. Incumbent Republican Governor Pete Ricketts is term-limited and cannot seek a third term. A primary election is an election in which registered voters select a candidate that they believe should be a political party's candidate for elected office to run in the general election. In Nebraska, a top-two primary system is used for the nonpartisan legislature and some other statewide races. All other primaries are semi-closed. Nebraska's primary elections are currently scheduled for May 10. This is a market on whether Charles Herbster will win the Republican nomination for Governor of Nebraska. The primary election is scheduled to take place on May 10, 2022. If Charles Herbster wins the Republican nomination for Governor of Nebraska, this market will resolve to “Yes”. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. Determination of the Republican nominee for the 2022 election for the Governor of Nebraska will be based on a consensus of credible reporting, or if there is ambiguity, the final state election authority certification or other final official determination of the 2022 election results. If for any reason, the Republican nominee is not known by June 10, 2022 (11 PM ET), this market will resolve to 50/50.
