Oscars 2022: Will any film win 6 or more awards?

The 94th Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), will honor the best films released between March 1 and December 31, 2021, and is scheduled to take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, on March 27, 2022. The nominations were announced on February 8, 2022. This market will resolve to "Yes" if any film wins awards in 6 or more categories at The 94th Academy Awards. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Please note that only the regular “Award of Merit” categories count for this market. Neither any special award nor "Oscars Fan Favorite" will be considered toward this market’s resolution. Presently, the Academy Awards ceremony has 23 regular categories, each of which is to be won by a specific movie. If, for example, B. Cumberbatch wins Best Actor for his role as Phil Burbank, the Oscar for 'The Power of the Dog' is counted. If for any reason the winners are not announced by April 27 2022 (11:59:59 PM ET), this market will resolve 50-50. The resolution source will be the television broadcast of the awards and the Oscars website (https://www.oscars.org/oscars/ceremonies/2022) and the award database (http://awardsdatabase.oscars.org/).
