Will a candidate say something racist at the next Republican debate?
This market will resolve to "Yes" if any candidate participating in the GOP debate scheduled for September 27, 2023 makes a racist statement during the debate. Explicitly racist remarks are defined as comments that directly discriminate, degrade, or express prejudice towards a particular race. If no such remark is made during the debate, the market will resolve to "No". The resolution source is live video of the debate. In case of ambiguity, an official transcript and/or a consensus of credible reporting may also be considered. If this event is cancelled or delayed beyond October 4, 2023, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No".
